Washington DC High School Football Huddle
The Natalie Randolph era began Friday at Coolidge High School with a 28-0 loss to Carroll.
The Washington Post reports that Randolph's debut was met by a media frenzy and 3,500 fans in the stands, including Wanda Oates, who is believed to be the first woman named a head varsity football coach in America. Unlike Randolph, Oates only last one day on the job.

While Alaska was opening the regular season for all of high school football Friday night, Coolidge High's (Washington, DC) Natalie Randolph took the field for her first practice as head coach of the program.
The Washington Post reports that 29-players were on the field for Randolph's historic first day.
